Day 0, the looming adventure

Today we drove from our home in Utah to San Diego, CA. The drive was full of fun with a lunch stop to a McDonald's in a train. Amazing ocean views and some great company. Shout-out to my mom Mary Ann for taking the time to drive us down!


Once getting to our hotel we dumped everything out of our packs and repacked everything, for the upteenth time. We removed some items from our pack such as sun umbrellas, extra clothing and extra food.


Tomorrow we start our trek and we both couldn't be more excited!
